As of this notice (Thursday, January 20th) , snow and/or ice accumulation is anticipated sometime after 8 pm this evening extending into the rush hour, Friday morning, January 21st. Snow route parking restrictions go into affect 1 hour after the snowfall begins. The cooperation of our residents in moving cars has allowed our plowing and salting operations to be effective and, to date, without incident. Our first responders (fire company, ambulances) are very grateful for your cooperation as well.
Remember that when snow routes are in effect, two hour parking zones are not enforced in order to give residents the opportunity to park wherever they can. The parking lot behind the Borough building is availble for overflow parking. We request that vehicles that are left in the municipal lot behind the Borough building provide a phone number visible on the dashboard in case an emergency contact is necessary.
