The annual household hazardous waste collection at the Lower Merion Transfer Station is Saturday, October 22nd, from 9AM to 3PM. The transfer station is located at 1300 N. Wooodbine Avenue in Penn Valley. The phone number for the station is 610-667-1952.

Toilet Bowl Cleaner
Unknown Chemicals
Paint Remover
Unusable Petroleum Products
Furniture Polish
Waxes
Furniture Stripper
Pesticides
Rug/Spot Cleaner
Rodent/Insect Poison
Herbicides
Paint may be disposed of in the following manner:
Combine all paint into as few containers as possible.
Cover and save those containers for the hazardous waste collection.
Allow the paint in the empty cans to dry completely.
The cans with the dried paint, without lids, may be deposited in the regular trash collection.
Electronics are also being accepted.
